Well, that took us all by surprise!
All 400 places in The Southside Six 2013 sold out in less than four hours on Thursday evening.
At one point, demand was so high that the entry systems went down. Despite the technical hitches along the way, 200 places were gone in the first 30 minutes!
There is a waiting list here and as places become available we’ll reallocate them. So if you want to be in with a chance of running, get your name down soon!
As you will hopefully be aware, entries will open at 7:30pm tomorrow (21st February). There will be 400 spaces available on a first-come-first-served basis. You can enter by following this link.
Standard entry is £9 (there is a £2 discount if you have an Scottish Athletics number) and our famous technical event t-shirts are £7 at the time of entry.
Last year we had a few glitches with the entry servers so if this happens again, please bear with us!

The event will take place on Sunday 3rd November starting from Queen’s Park, Glasgow at 11am.

After another successful Southside Six, we have finally gotten around to binning the faulty air horn, packing away the signs, paying all our bills and recovering from the After-Party!!
We have a small surplus in our funds, and as we don’t organise The Southside Six to make money (if we did it wouldn’t be as much fun) we are happy to announce that we are donating £500 to the MS Society Scotland, who helped us on the day with marshalling and provided treats for the goodie bags.
Thanks once again to everyone involved in The Southside Six who helped us by running, volunteering or supporting us with donations of prizes, soup, gels, water, discount vouchers and beer.
